Let’s have lunch! Doesn’t that sound great right about now? I’m not talking about the ask from your children to be fed mid-day. I’m talking about that glorious season when we actually did lunch. Lunch. The cherished exercise of planning a date, picking an outfit, and meeting up with fiends. It’s been too long!
Design Cincinnati: At Home has you covered! We’ve partnered with our friends at The Birch in Terrace Park to creatively design another twist on our virtual luncheon this week. If you’re local in Cincinnati, you can pre-order a choice of salads, for pick-up on Friday. Email aaron@thebirchtp.com to place your order by Thursday, April 2 at 5PM. She will contact you to confirm your order, so please follow up if you don't hear from her. Pick up will be available between 11:30 and noon on April 3rd.
The menu includes:
- Harvest Quinoa Bowl. Dried fruit medley, goat cheese, roasted sweet potato, sliced apple, red onion, crushed pecans, maple vinaigrette: $15
- Spinach Salad. Baby spinach, red onion, hard boiled egg, pine nuts, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, cabernet vinaigrette: $13
- Caesar salad. Chopped romain lettuce, garlic butter croutons, grana padano, hard boiled egg, caesar dressing: $10
- Gratuity is appreciated to help support the restaurant staff.
Grab your salad, put on something pretty (from the shoulders up, at least) and settle in for a tour of the English countryside with our fabulous guest speakers Susanna Salk and Stacey Bewkes.
If you’re joining us from another part of the county, here’s your chance to carve out a little time for yourself. Make something special for lunch. (A handful of wheat thins doesn’t count!) Maybe the delicious Birch salads will inspire you to create your own salad masterpiece! We all need a little escape. Just imagine what goes on behind closed doors of the gorgeous manor homes and beyond the gates of the curated gardens… especially when furry friends are involved. Susanna & Stacey promise stories that will surprise and delight, and certainly make you laugh. Yes, please!
